Man Charged With Murder In Hartford Killing Sept. 12: Police
The 34-year-old suspect is accused of shooting and killing a 38-year-old male victim last Friday in Hartford.

HARTFORD, CT — A suspect has turned himself in to Hartford police this week to face murder charges related to a fatal shooting last week.
The Hartford Police Department said on Wednesday that Xavier Soto, 34, was charged with murder, criminal use of a firearm, risk of injury to a child, and first-degree reckless endangerment.
On Sept. 12, Hartford police responded to Broadview Terrace for a shooting where the victim, Miguel Alfinez, 38, succumbed to his injuries.

During the investigation, detectives quickly identified the suspect as Soto, who turned himself in to the HPD on Tuesday, Sept. 16.
