Man Dies After Dirt Bike Slams Tree In Hartford: Police

HARTFORD, CT — A 28-year-old Hartford man is dead after the dirt bike he was riding crashed into a tree in the city.

According to the Hartford Police Department, the accident happened on Friday evening on Cornwall Street in Hartford.

Police identified the man killed as Jayni Powell, 28. He died after being taken to Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, police said.

The Hartford Police Crime Scene Division responded and continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
