ARTFARM’s Shakespeare Slam and Masked Bash Saturday
This important fundraiser will fund Much Ado About Nothing in Middletown July 18-28.

ARTFARM’s Shakespeare Slam and Masked Bash is May 11 at 7 p.m. at Kidcity on Washington Street in Middletown.
The menu for the evening will include:
- A selection of wines provided by The Bottle Shop.
- Draft beers from City Steam Brewery.
- An endless assortment of fabulous food, served to you by masked and costumed Maidens Fair, from It's Only Natural Restaurant, Anoho, The Bridge, Fusion Bakery, Illiano’s, It’s Only Natural Market, Middlesex Fruitery, Public Market, Tschudin Chocolates, Typhoon, plus loads of other delectables donated by ARTFARM Board members and friends and prepared that day by Kisha Michael and a friendly group of well-treated house elves.
More than 20 slammers are set to perform and prizes will be given to the performers who raise the most money, including a Riverquest Gift Certificate for a Cruise for two, pairs of tickets to Long Wharf Theater and Wesleyan’s Center for the Arts, Gift Certificates for Middletown Framing, Luce Restaurant, Ann’s Good Stuff and Yoga in Middletown.
This important fundraiser will fund Much Ado About Nothing in Middletown July 18-28. At the door, purchase a “Hero” ticket for $50 for an extra drink ticket and a free mask. Masks made with the help of Kidsartspace and others will be available to purchase at the door.
A $500 donor will receive dinner for six cooked in your home by ARTFARM’s artistic director. Tickets will be available at the door. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the first round of slam will begin at 7:15 p.m.
Admission is $25 ($15 for ages 25 and under; free for performers).
