The following police reports are obtained from the Middletown Police public information officer and inclusion on this list reflect charges filed, not convictions.

Middletown Police report the following incidents:
May 9
FIRST-DEGREE CRIMINAL TRESPASS, BREACH OF PEACE — At 8:30 a.m., police received a call from the St. Vincent dePaul soup kitchen saying Wendy Barcomb, 43, was there after being warned on May 8 not to return for being drunk and causing a scene, the report says. She was banging on the front door, demanding to be let inside, allegedly intoxicated and causing another disturbance, police say. The assistant director told police she has been trying to work with Barcomb's probation officer to get her to go to detoxification unsuccessfully but had, with Middlesex Hospital, gotten her enrolled in a community care treatment plan.
DUI, EVADING RESPONSIBILITY, FAILURE TO DRIVE AT REASONABLE DISTANCE — At 11:33 a.m., Richard Grasso, 65, was involved in a rear-end car crash on Old Mill Road, the report says. The victim told police they had pulled into a parking lot and he'd taken photos of Grasso's car, but he fled the scene after telling the victim he was drunk and didn't want a report. Police say Grasso was found at home and admitted he was drunk and his involvement in the accident. The report says he had trouble standing up and was slurring his words, then told police he had had a stroke. The breathalyzer registered .250 and .233 blood alcohol content.
SECOND-DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR — At 8:30 a.m., Catherine C. Cyr, 42, of Pond Meadow Road, Killingworth, turned herself in on an outstanding warrant.
SECOND-DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR — At 8:30 a.m., Marilynd E. Tirado, 23, of Congress Street, Hartford, turned herself in on an outstanding warrant.
May 8
INSURANCE COVERAGE FAILS MINIMUM, OPERATION MOTOR VEHICLE WHEN LICENSE SUSPENDED, UNREASONABLE SPEED, STOP SIGN VIOLATION — Aaron D. Smith, 24, of Elm Street, New Haven, was speeding on Middle Street as a police officer saw him going through the intersection with Boardman Lane, according to the report, so he slammed on the brakes, skidding 100 feet.
May 7
VIOLATION OF PROBATION — At 2 p.m., Bruce V. Rasted, 47, of Hall Avenue, Meriden, turned himself in on an outstanding warrant.
BREACH OF PEACE — At 1:58 p.m., Leilani A. Callands, 23, of Berlin Street was fighting with Perry and Tiffany L. Menendez, 24, of Berlin Street, on Berlin Street, screaming profanity, according to the report. Callands' shirt was ripped, Shicondra L. Perry, 21, of Coles Road had a silver lug wrench she was swinging and Callands was swinging a metal tire pump. The report says Callands and Perry were dating Menendez after Perry was in a car accident, needing a Rhode Island rental car. All three were charged.
SECOND-DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR, THIRD-DEGREE BURGLARY, FOURTH-DEGREE THEFT, CONSPIRACY FELONY AND MISDEMEANOR — At 12:40 a.m., Jabar McDaniel, 19, of Braburn Lane was seen by police standing on Grand Street, and officers knew he had an outstanding warrant, the report says. The report says he gave a fake name then told his friend, "hey cuz, tell them my name is X, they do not believe me." The other man said, "why, what's going on, Jabar?"
THIRD-DEGREE ASSAULT — At 6:47 p.m., Barron D. Patterson, 27, of South Main Street was fighting with his brother while intoxicated in front of his infant child, the report says, so Patterson rushed at him and punched him, though the brother blocked it. The report says the blow caused the victim's left shoulder to "pop out of the socket," and Patterson tried to "gouge his [brother's] eyes out," scratched his face and chest.
May 5
SIXTH-DEGREE LARCENY, CONSPIRACY DISCUSSION — David M. O'Brien, 22, of no certain address was arguing with patrons of La Boca Restaurant on Main Street and had an outstanding warrant, the report says.
May 4
OPERATION MOTOR VEHICLE WHEN LICENSE SUSPENDED, DRIVING WITH A CELL PHONE — Amber A. Belangersmith, 27, of Loveland Street was at the intersection of Church and Broad streets while testing on the phone.
April 30
DRINKING WHILE DRIVING — At 5:31 p.m., Lawrence R. Jurczak, 49, of Pickering Street, Portland, was driving a truck while drinking a can of Miller Lite.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT — At 8:50 p.m., Jason L. Curtis, 39, of an attic Prospect Street apartment and the landlord, fought with his roommate, Dominick J. Santamaria, 45, of Prospect Street. The report says he smelled of alcohol and admitted to drinking throughout the night. A female witness said the two men were swearing, throwing things outside, yelling and taunting another resident to come outside and fight, the report says. Santamaria, who smelled of alcohol and had trouble standing upright, gave police the middle finger and swore at him, police indicate. Both were charged.
April 23
SECOND-DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR — At 5:10 p.m., state police held James Granata, 54, of Main Street, MIddlefield, on an outstanding warrant.
April 22
VIOLATION OF PROTECTIVE ORDER — At 8 p.m., Christopher Calabrese, 37, of Boston Road was picked up at an apartment.
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH EMISSIONS, OPERATION MOTOR VEHICLE WHEN LICENSE SUSPENDED, POSSESSION LESS THAN HALF-OUNCE MARIJUANA — At 6:45 p.m., Leila Karst, 20, of Beaver Meadow Road, Haddam, was driving a Honda Civic on West Street. She admitted to having "a little weed," (1.10 grams) the report says.
VIOLATION OF PROBATION — At 5:01 p.m., Joshua A. Warren, 24, of Liberty Street was seen in front of It's Only Natural Market with an outstanding warrant.
THIRD-DEGREE CRIMINAL MISCHIEF, DISORDERLY CONDUCT — At 4:31 p.m., a man called police saying he was being assaulted at his Newfield Street apartment by his boyfriend, Edsel Vazquez, 22, of Alexander Road, New Britain, who was staying with him. The report says Vazquez threw tea at the victim so he attacked Vazquez then punched two holes in the walls trying to get away.
April 21
SPEEDING VIOLATION, FAILURE TO NOTIFY MV OF CHANGE OF ADDRESS — Alexis R. Lewis, 23, of Tryon Street was driving on Washington Street and clocked on radar as going 67 mph in a 40 mph zone.
SECOND-DEGREE BREACH OF PEACE, PUBLIC INTOXICATION — At 11 a.m., Michael F. Muscarella, 57, of Newfield Street was intoxicated and lying in a flower bed in the Metro Square plaza, according to the report, as a woman and her children heard him yelling racial epithets and swears and accused an officer of laughing at him because he has "Crohn's disease." Known to police for drinking, Muscarella was sent to Middlesex Hospital for detoxification and had a nearly empty large bottle of Popov vodka, the report says.
OPERATION MOTOR VEHICLE WHEN LICENSE SUSPENDED, FAILURE TO DISPLAY PLATES, TINTING WINDOWS — At 3:04 p.m., Porsha Jackson, 43, of Wethersfield Avenue, East Hartford, was driving a Pontiac Grand Prix on Washington Street near Broad.
ILLEGAL OPERATION MOTOR VEHICLE, INSURANCE COVERAGE FAILS MINIMUM — Fred A. Pinero, 34, of Pearl Street was driving a Chevy Impala on Butternut Street.
April 20
SPEEDING VIOLATION — Juana M. Delgato, 44, of Carroll Street, Stratford, was driving on Washington Street at 63 mph in a 40 mph zone, according to police.
SPEEDING VIOLATION — Courtney E. Ligi, 29, of Greenwood Drive, Prospect, was on Washington Street speeding at 67 mph in a 40 mph zone, according to police. She said the ticket was "ridiculous," police say.
April 16
SPEEDING VIOLATION — Carmelina A. Lepore, 51, of Valley Drive was driving on Washington Street at 66 mph in a 40 mph zone, police say.
OPERATION MOTOR VEHICLE WHEN LICENSE SUSPENDED — At 5:04 p.m., Salvador Torres, 42, of East Street was driving a Ford pickup on Washington Street
April 15
FAILURE TO DRIVE RIGHT, EVADING — At 8:59 p.m., Gregory Bond, 49, of Fairview Avenue was involved in a two-car accident at Church and High streets. The report says a Wesleyan Public Safety officer was on scene where a dark Subaru hit a white Jeep, told the Subaru driver to pull over, but he sped away. He gave a physical description and license plate, the report says. At Bond's home, he was asleep and when awoken, unsteady on his feet, with bloodshot eyes and smelled of alcohol. The report says he admitted to drinking at Mad Murphy's pub and hitting the parked Jeep after dozing off while driving.
April 13
IMPROPER PARKING, ILLEGAL OPERATION UNDER SUSPENSION — At 9:13 p.m., Stuart Dempsey, 51, of Buell Street, New Britain, was in a Saturn parked on Ferry Street, police say.
