Middletown Police report the following incidents:
May 23
SECOND-DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR — At 1:11 a.m., police checking out Lawrence School on Kaplan Drive found two cars parked in the entranceway, one with three women inside who told police they were there because a friends' get-together didn't offer enough parking. The report says one woman was being dropped off by her friends. Shelby Johnson, 21, of Westfield Street was found with an outstanding warrant.

FAILURE TO CARRY CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE, OPERATION MOTOR VEHICLE WHEN LICENSE SUSPENDED, TRAVELING UNREASONABLY FAST — At 3 p.m., Benjamin P. Keegan, 25, of Chamberlain Hill Road, Higganum, was driving on Washington Street near Camp, at 60mph in a 45mph zone, according to the report.
May 10
DISORDERLY CONDUCT — At 1 p.m., a large fight broke out at Middletown High School, according to the report, in which Jha'kur West, 18, of Margarite Road was arguing with a female student and pushed a male. West, who was extremely agitated and yelling, police say, swore at authorities and refused to move to the security office, fighting off attempts to steer him that way.
