Middletown Police report the following incidents:
May 17
STOP SIGN VIOLATION, OPERATION WHEN LICENSE IS SUSPENDED AND MOTOR VEHICLE UNREGISTERED — Alden Keeling, 50, of Indian Lane, Durham, ran a stop sign at Middle Street and Country Club Road with a registration expired since November 2011.
FIRST-DEGREE CRIMINAL TRESPASS — At 3:30 a.m., Terrane Champion, 26, of Oaklawn, Orange, Maine, was at a home on Walnut Street when police were called about an unwanted person. A man said he had picked Champion up off the street to help his mother move and he stayed overnight. The report says Champion when out earlier that night and came back intoxicated, and when police arrived he had gathered his belongings and was "lying on the front lawn." He was uncooperative, police say, despite officers trying to find a place for him to stay, saying he wanted to be arrested. He was given a ride to the police department so he could stay the night, the report says, but at 4:18 a.m., he was again found lying on the front lawn.
May 16
VIOLATION OF PROBATION — At 5:47 p.m., John A. Lassiter, 38, of Main Street was driving a Pontiac Grand Prix on deKoven Drive and made a left on red turn, according to the report. He was found with an outstanding warrant.
THIRD-DEGREE LARCENY, FALSE STATEMENT TO PROCURE CREDIT CARD, ILLEGAL USE OF CREDIT CARD, RECEIPT OF GOODS BY ILLEGAL CREDIT CARD USE, THIRD-DEGREE IDENTITY THEFT — At 7 a.m., Ambyr Rattanakoun, 27, of Silver Street was served with an outstanding warrant.
May 15
OPERATE UNREGISTERED VEHICLE, INSURANCE COVERAGE FAILS MINIMUM, IMPROPER USE MARKER PLATE, OPERATION WHEN LICENSE IS SUSPENDED — At 7:38 p.m., Ryan Johnson, 22, of Green Street was driving a Honda on Old Mill Street with a plate belonging to an Infinity, according to the report. He couldn't provide a title.
FAILURE TO RESPOND — At 10:45 a.m., Ashely K. Chance, 25, of Lower Street, East Canaan, turned herself in on an outstanding warrant.
FAILURE TO RESPOND — At 11:59 a.m., Terrell Rankins, 26, of West Street turned himself in on an outstanding warrant.
May 14
FAILURE TO DISPLAY PLATES, INSURANCE COVERAGE FAILS MINIMUM, OPERATION IN VIOLATION OF LICENSE CLASSIFICATION — At 12:19 p.m., Clarissa Gonzalez, 19, of Howard Avenue, New Haven, was driving on Newfield Street with her license plate in the front window and a cracked windshield, the report indicates.
May 13
SECOND-DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR — Brian Burr, 41, of Smith Street was at Rite Aid on Main Street after police called him about a complaint made about a juvenile, as he is the child's guardian. He was found with an outstanding warrant, the report says, from State Police Troop F from a Chester incident.
May 12
OPERATE UNREGISTERED VEHICLE AND WITH SUSPENDED REGISTRATION, INSURANCE COVERAGE FAILS MINIMUM, IMPROPER USE MARKER PLATE — At 8:23 p.m., Emilo Rodriguze, 47, of Stack Street was driving a Chrysler on Stack Street with a plate belonging on an Oldsmobile.
May 9
OPERATE UNREGISTERED VEHICLE, OPERATION WHEN LICENSE IS SUSPENDED — At 9:35 p.m., Brittany N. Henriquez, 21, of Rising Trail Drive was driving a Honda Passport on Newfield Street.
