MIDDLETOWN - A Middletown resident is $50,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket in Portland earlier this week, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
On December 1, David Hetrick, of Middletown, purchased a Powerball ticket from the Portland Quick Mart and won $50,000.
