MIDDLETOWN, CT — A police training exercise involving schools began Tuesday in Middletown and will continue into Wednesday.

The preparedness drill is involving not only police, but personnel from emeregency services city-wide.

The schools involved are Middletown High School and Keigwin School.

Police were cautioning the public to stay clear of the schools unless participating in an athletic practice or official activity.

"This is training only," police said.
