Obituary: Dayton A. St. Peter, 81, of Middletown
Dayton A. St. Peter was a lifetime member of the Westfield Volunteer Fire Department for 50 years.

Dayton Alfred St. Peter, 81, of Middletown, husband of Jacqueline (Milliard) St. Peter, died Thursday December 3, 2015, at Hartford Hospital.
He was born in Ashland, Maine, son of the late Walter F. and Amanda (Beaulieu) St. Peter. Prior to his retirement, Dayton was employed as a stock handler with Northeast Utilities. He was a lifetime member of the Westfield Volunteer Fire Department for 50 years.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Brenda St. Peter of East Hampton, son, Brian St. Peter of Haddam, sister, Jean Pelky of Presque Isle, ME, two granddaughters Lindsey McInerney of Middletown, and Michelle St. Peter of Hamden. He was predeceased by his sister Marion Packard and brothers Walter, Floyd and Robert St. Peter. He was also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 9, at 9:15 a.m. from Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown, followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at St. Sebastian Church, Washington St., Middletown.

Burial will be at Miner Cemetery, Middletown. Friends may call at Biega Funeral Home on Tuesday, Dec. 8, from 5 to 7 p.m.
