Obituary: Kenneth Smith, Sr., 65, of Middletown
Kenneth, known for his sense of humor and love for his family, enjoyed the lottery, cooking, fishing, music, dancing, movies and comics.
MIDDLETOWN, CT - (From Doolittle Funeral Home) Kenneth Smith, Sr., 65, of Middletown, passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at his home.
Born and raised in Bronx, New York, he was the son of the Freddie and Betty (Cooke) Smith.
Kenneth has lived in Middletown for five years moving from Virginia. He was employed at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Queens, NY for many years.
He enjoyed playing the lottery, cooking, fishing, music, dancing, movies and comic books. Kenneth had a great sense of humor and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He was so loved and will be missed.
Kenneth is survived by two son, Kenneth Smith, Jr of East Hartford and Derek Hamlin of Waterbury; his daughter, Kendra Smith-Bazemore of Middletown; a brother, five sisters, fifteen grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Along with his parents, Kenneth was predeceased by a brother and two sisters.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
