Milford City Clerk Partners with Milford Fire Department Local 944 for Toys for Tots Program

Milford, CT – November 25, 2025 – City Clerk Peter Smith has announced that the Milford City Clerk’s Office is serving as an official drop-off location for the Milford Fire Department Local 944 Toys for Tots program. The Clerk’s Office, located on the first floor of the Parsons Government Center at 70 West River Street, will accept toy donations Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

City Clerk Smith commended the Milford Firefighters Union for their longstanding commitment to the community and their dedication to the Toys for Tots program. “We are honored to once again serve as an official drop-off location,” said Smith. “We are continuing to partner with the Milford Board of Education’s ‘Parsons Perks’, which is offering a free coffee to anyone who donates to Toys for Tots.”

The Milford Firefighters Union has been spreading holiday cheer to local children since the 1930s. Each year, the Toys for Tots program provides Christmas gifts to nearly 300 Milford families, supporting children from newborns to 11 years old. All donations and funds raised directly benefit Milford families in need.
