Terror On The Turnpike: Newington PD Seeks Rogue Motorcyclists

The Newington PD is seeking the identities of several reckless moped/motorcycle riders who terrorized the Berlin Turnpike Saturday night.

NEWINGTON, CT — Local police are looking for a group of moped/motorcycle riders who terrorized the Berlin Turnpike on Saturday night, Aug. 9.

The Newington Police Department is actively seeking to identify suspects seen recklessly operating mopeds and unregistered bikes at the street, police said.

"These individuals endangered both themselves and our community, even carrying juvenile passengers while engaging in this dangerous behavior," wrote the NPD on Monday, Aug. 11.
