Glenn Arremony Honored in Washington DC as a 2024 Star of Life

This year, Hartford HealthCare EMS Network is proud to share that Glenn Arremony was among those recognized.

Washington, DC—This November, the American Ambulance Association (AAA) recognizes extraordinary EMS professionals during the annual Stars of Life celebration in Washington, DC November 11–13. 143 individuals from across the United States will be honored as the 2024 Stars at this year’s event.

Stars of Life pays tribute to the dedication of these hometown heroes while shining light on the critical role EMS plays in our healthcare infrastructure. During their time in our nation’s capital, the Stars will receive medallions and plaques in thanks for their lifesaving and life-sustaining service. Additionally, the Stars, accompanied by their families and executive hosts, will meet with members of Congress and congressional aides to discuss policy issues critical to emergency medical services.

Glenn Arremony began his EMS career in 1988 and has dedicated 33 years to American Ambulance, where he currently serves as Operations Manager, Paramedic, and Quality Assurance Director. He is honored as a 2024 Star of Life for his lifelong commitment to EMS.

Glenn’s journey started 36 years ago with a First Aid and CPR course, leading to his EMT certification in 1989 and graduation from Mohegan Community College’s Paramedic Program in 1991. He became a Critical Care Paramedic in 2011 and has directed Quality Assurance since 2000, overseeing clinical care and Paramedic preceptorships. He has also served as Lead Paramedic, Crew Chief, and is a Certified Ambulance Compliance Officer and Paramedic instructor since 2001.

Throughout his career, Glenn has responded to approximately 25,000 incidents, positively impacting countless lives through his care, teaching, and advocacy for the EMS system.
