• Man Faces Kidnapping, Assault Charges After Norwich Domestic Disturbance: PD (patch.com) — Norwich police say a woman was assaulted, threatened, and forced into a vehicle during a domestic dispute that began at the Cumberland Farms on Laurel Hill Avenue. Officers later stopped the vehicle, arrested 33-year-old Ricardo Charles, and located the injured woman elsewhere for medical treatment. Charles faces multiple serious charges, including first-degree kidnapping with a firearm, and is scheduled for arraignment in Norwich Superior Court.
