ID Of Teen Found Dead At Norwich Park Released
The body was discovered on Nov. 18, according to police.
NORWICH, CT — Police on Thursday identified the person whose body was found at Uncas Leap Heritage Park this week as a local teen.
Sgt. Ken Wright said the deceased individual has been identified as Quincy Perez, 18, of Norwich.
His next of kin has been notified.

Police were summoned to the park on Nov. 18 around 11:07 a.m., for a report of an unresponsive individual.
Officers arrived and determined the individual was deceased, according to police.

“Based on preliminary findings, investigators have determined that there are no indications of criminal activity or any circumstances that pose a risk to the public,” police said, in an announcement Thursday.
The park remains open to visitors.
