A large team of volunteers combed the woods Saturday to find him.

PRESTON, CT — An elderly man who had been missing for nearly a month was found deceased Saturday, police said.
Henry Hood, 72, a Navy veteran with dementia, had been missing since Oct. 24, according to state police.
On Saturday, friends and family enlisted volunteers and organized a large-scale search to comb the area to find him. Searchers met on Doolittle Road and planned to scour the woods for a two mile radius around his home.
