Norwich Bridge To Close Due To Repairs: Report
The bridge is expected to be closed until fall 2023.

NORWICH, CT — The Sherman Street Bridge over the Niantic River will undergo a $10 million replacement, according to The Norwich Bulletin. Work starts Monday, and the bridge is expected to be closed until fall 2023.
The city is covering $1 million of the cost, with another $1 million covered by the state and the rest by the federal government.
The bridge last underwent major repairs in the 1980s.
