(Kunstraum) Dada Post was an artist-run organization, founded in January 2008, by Howard McCalebb in Berlin, Germany. In 2022 Mr. McCalebb moved to Norwich, Connecticut, and establish the art gallery Dada Post USA. Mr. McCalebb is a sculptor and active figure on the international art scene. Dada Post USA is an autonomous space for the production, display and discussion of current art. Foremost, we contemplate artistic expression from the standpoint of pure inspiration emanating from the source – the artist. We are keenly interested in the effects of Globalization on art practice, and the notion of a hybridized Post Modern art practice. As a contemporary art space, Dada Post USA is primarily concerned with artwork that is the most current, reflecting the actual meaning of the term: Contemporary Art. We offer a program of exhibitions and events, featuring videos, poetry/literary readings, music and other live performances, during and between art exhibitions. The original inspiration for both (Kunstraum) Dada Post and Dada Post USA was the Cabaret Voltaire in Zürich, Switzerland and Andy Warhol’s Factory in New York City – which were open venues for impromptu gatherings, events, and artistic experimentation. Dada Post USA will continue in this inspiration. In 2022 Howard McCalebb moved to Norwich, Connecticut, and establish the art gallery Dada Post USA. NORWICH, CT — Police are searching for three people who fled from a stolen vehicle that crashed on Route 2 Monday afternoon. Sgt. Pete Karasuk said officers attempted to stop the stolen vehicle around 4:09 p.m. Monday. The vehicle was associated with an attempted armed carjacking in Glastonbury on Friday, police said. The driver fled from police for a short distance, then lost control and hit a guardrail on Route 2 westbound, just before Exit 34, according to police. After the vehicle crashed, three people got out and ran into the woods, according to police. Police did not release a description of the suspects. Police found a firearm near the vehicle, according to Karasuk. The Connecticut State Police and Montville police both helped search for the suspects with tracking dogs, but the trio escaped. The investigation is active, with no arrests so far, and police are asking for the public's help in capturing the suspects.
