Norwich Cops Seek 3 Who Fled Stolen Vehicle: PD
Three suspects fled into the woods after crashing on Route 2, according to police.
NORWICH, CT — Police are searching for three people who fled from a stolen vehicle that crashed on Route 2 Monday afternoon.
Sgt. Pete Karasuk said officers attempted to stop the stolen vehicle around 4:09 p.m. Monday.
The vehicle was associated with an attempted armed carjacking in Glastonbury on Friday, police said.

The driver fled from police for a short distance, then lost control and hit a guardrail on Route 2 westbound, just before Exit 34, according to police.
After the vehicle crashed, three people got out and ran into the woods, according to police. Police did not release a description of the suspects. Police found a firearm near the vehicle, according to Karasuk.

The Connecticut State Police and Montville police both helped search for the suspects with tracking dogs, but the trio escaped.
The investigation is active, with no arrests so far, and police are asking for the public’s help in capturing the suspects.
