UPDATE: For mayor, the Democratic candidate Singh Swarnjit received 3,978 votes, the Republican candidate Stacy Gould received 2,826 votes, and the petitioning candidate Marcia K Wilbur received 145 votes, according to the Secretary of State's website.


NORWICH, CT — On Nov. 4, Norwich residents cast their votes for several key municipal positions in town. Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming municipal election.

Polls in Connecticut are open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day. You can use the Secretary of State’s website to find your polling place. Voters who are in line by 8 p.m. will be allowed to vote.

If you are not registered, but want to vote on Election Day, you may register in person on Election Day at your Election Day Registration site People must be registered by 8 p.m. in order to vote using Election Day registration.

Mayor, Vote for One

The Democratic candidate is Singh Swarnjit and the Republican candidate is Stacy Gould, and the Petitioning Candidate is Marcia K Wilbur

The Democratic candidates are Tracey Burto, Joseph A DeLucia, Shiela Hayes, Jill Zuccardy, Enock Petit-Homme, and Zato Kadambaya and the Republican candidates are Larry Rice, Robin Sieczkowski, Joanne Philbrick, Bill Nash, and Peter A Nystrom


City Treasurer, Vote for One

The candidate is Bob Buckley, a Republican


Board of Education, Vote for Up to Any Six

The Democratic candidates are Chris Milton, John Iovino, Gregory Perry, Ella Myles, Kevin Saythany, and Mark Kulos and the Republican candidates are Rob Dempsky, Heather Fowler, Josh Chapman, Dennis Slopak, H Darrell Callicutt, and Christine A Distasio
