34-Year-Old New London County Resident Dies After Head-On Crash: PD

MANCHESTER, CT — A car crash in Manchester Monday night claimed the life of a Norwich resident, police said.

The crash took place at 7:59 p.m. on the 300 block of Highland Street, police said.

Police said that a vehicle traveling westbound on Highland Street being driven by 34-year-old Porscha Williams of Norwich, collided head-on with a car traveling eastbound on Highland Street being operated by a 32-year-old woman from Bolton.

Williams was transported to Hartford Hospital, where she later died from injuries sustained in the collision, police said.

The Bolton woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was also transported to Hartford
Hospital for treatment, police said.
