NORWICH, CT — District officials have begun an administrative take-over of the Teachers' Memorial Global Studies Magnet Middle School in Norwich to crack down on student behavior issues, according to The New London Day.

Superintendent Kristen Stringfellow sent a three-page letter to parents and staff over the weekend outlining the wide-ranging changes, including a ban on cell phone use during school, reinstatement of after-school detentions, and in-school and out-of-school suspensions.
