Opinion: The root cause of the tax problem in Norwich - Too many Orgs
There are thousands of non-profit organizations in a town of 40,000. Even the Greater Norwich Area Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit.
This past week, another budget meeting was held with multiple residents presenting their stories of the impact on high tax burden in the town.
The fact we have thousands of non profits not paying any property or other tax is a huge burden to our locals.
