A quick service restaurant with dine-in, takeout and drive-thru options is set to celebrate its grand opening in the Quarry Walk Plaza.

OXFORD, CT — A "gourmet fast food restaurant" best known for its sliders, fry baskets, vegan items and shakes is set to celebrate its grand opening in Oxford.
Mini Munch Sliders, a quick service restaurant with dine-in, takeout and drive-thru options, is hosting a grand opening event on Saturday, June 28 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at its Quarry Walk Plaza location at 200 Main Street. The day will include a raffle, ribbon cutting ceremony, games, activities for the whole family, prizes, a discount wheel and a free slider for the first 50 customers.
The restaurant had a soft opening in early May, and ownership takes pride in offering customers a unique variety of food.

"It’s incredibly rewarding to put your idea out there and have it be appreciated," owner Ernie Nievesssaid in a written news release. "Recently, a customer shared that she has a family of six and is so grateful that she could get such a variety for everyone in one place. It reminded me of my big family and how we used to stop at three-plus drive-thrus just to make sure everyone got something they wanted.
"What makes Mini Munch Sliders unique is that we appreciate customers wanting to have a variety and not just be stuck to one thing. We offer our famous 3-slider combo so that people can try more than one thing. You can get a juicy burger, crunchy chicken sandwich and crispy fish all in one meal. There aren’t many places in the area like it. We also offer gluten-free and vegan options so that there is something for everyone and families can enjoy a variety in one place."
