Oxford Teen Gets Wish To Meet Disney Star
Oxford teen Avery Tilki got to meet Disney star Sofia Carson with the help of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
OXFORD, CT — Oxford resident Avery Tilki, 16, got her wish to meet Disney Channel star Sofia Carson with the help of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Tilki, who is battling end-stage renal disease got to meet Carson at a rehearsal for Radio Disney music event ARDYs, according to WTNH.
Carson and Tilki talked, sang and danced together in Carson's dressing room after the rehearsal. Helping make a girl smile is one of the most special things in the world, Carson said.

Carson starred in the Disney Channel movie Descendants and several other movies. She is also a singer.
