Here's where to go (courant.com) — Rocky Hill residents can ring in 2026 with a First Day Hike at Dinosaur State Park, one of 16 Connecticut parks offering guided or self-guided walks on New Year’s Day. Most hikes are one to three miles, start between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., and park entry is free for vehicles with Connecticut plates through the Passport to Parks program.
