Customers tried to surround their black Honda HRV (that had no visible registration plate), but they managed to get away, police said.

At first it seemed they struck an employee with the car as they left, but that wasn't the case, according to police.

The scene was captured on store surveillance and several people recorded the incident on their phones, police said.
