71-Year-Old Gets Caught Urinating In Public In South Windsor, Then Gets DUI Charge

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A strange incident to begin the weekend left a local man with a drunken driving charge, South Windsor police said.

According to an arrest report, at 5:57 p.m. on Friday, South Windsor police responded to 577 John Fitch Boulevard for reports of a man urinating on a building.

The man left the scene before officers arrived, but was tracked down nearby and promptly failed field sobriety tests.

The man, who is from South Windsor, was then charged with driving under the influence.

He is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Dec. 1.
