Man Accused Of Cashing Forged Check At South Windsor Bank
Police say a forged check was cashed at People's Bank on Cedar Avenue.
SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A West Hartford man faces larceny and forgery charges stemming from a summer incident at a South Windsor bank, according to police.
South Windsor police said Joseph A. Gallup, 39, was taken into custody on Tuesday on an active arrest warrant connected to a July 2025 incident at People’s Bank, located at 25 Cedar Ave.
Investigators allege Gallup cashed a forged check for $1,304.39 at the bank.

Gallup was initially taken into custody by Bristol police on December 9th and later transferred to South Windsor police, where he was processed and released on a $5,000 bond, authorities said.
He is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Wednesday, December 24th, at 9 a.m.
