Man Assaulted Woman In Car With Child Inside, South Windsor Police Say

South Windsor police say a child was inside the car when the man allegedly struck the woman and refused to pull over.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Police say a 42-year-old man struck a woman and refused to let her out of a vehicle during a domestic violence-related incident Saturday afternoon.

South Windsor police said Timothy Ouellette of Manchester was taken into custody following the incident, which occurred around 4:17 p.m. on Dec. 13.

Officers said Ouellette struck a woman while they were inside a vehicle and refused to pull over to let her out. Police said a child was in the car at the time.

Ouellette was later located by police and taken into custody. He was charged with risk of injury to a child and disorderly conduct, according to police.

Police said he was released on a $2,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court at 9 a.m. Monday.
