ACLU-CT Official To Discuss Current Issues At South Windsor Forum

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — An official from the American Civil Liberties Union of Connecticut (ACLU-CT) will take part in an open forum next week at town hall, discussing contemporary issues.

B. Perryman, communications director of ACLU-CT, will discuss the implications of the Trump administration on civil rights, liberties and immigration enforcement. The forum, hosted by the South Windsor Democratic Town Committee, will take place Thursday, Feb. 27 at 6 p.m. in the Town Council chambers.

Town Committee chair Anitha Elango said, "ACLU-CT connects with thousands of people in every corner of the state. They are in the courthouse, the statehouse, and the streets and communities fighting for us daily. We are pleased to host this forum in South Windsor."
