Fire Crews Quickly Contain Blaze In South Windsor, Officials Say
About thirty-five firefighters responded Tuesday night and had the fire under control in twenty minutes, officials say.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — South Windsor firefighters quickly put out a bathroom fire late Tuesday night and rescued a cat from inside the home, according to a post on the fire department's social media.
Crews said they were called to Summer Hill Drive around 10:20 p.m. for a structure fire. Firefighters arrived within four minutes and found the fire contained to a bathroom. All residents had already gotten out safely, but one cat was still inside. Firefighters found the cat and brought it out unharmed.
The fire was under control in about 20 minutes, and no injuries were reported. The South Windsor Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause, officials say.
