Horse, Donkey Run Wild On South Windsor Highway Ramp: Cops
A mischievous animal pair was caught running around a busy area of South Windsor Tuesday.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A horse on donkey were running around a highway ramp in South Windsor Tuesday afternoon, police said.
Police said the mischievous animal pair was able to get loose from an area property at about 2:30 p.m. The horse and donkey made their way to the Exit 4 on-ramp to Interstate 291 near state Route 5 and were frolicking on the pavement.
State police, South Windsor police and the South Windsor animal control division responded to the area and kept the animals safe while trying to contact the owner.

At about 3:20 p.m., the owner was en route to pick up the animals, police said.
