Authorities discovered Mink operated a network that utilized multiple commercial businesses to facilitate illegal drug distribution. As a result of extensive investigative work, ECNTF obtained and executed multiple state search and seizure warrants. Notably, law enforcement officers searched Kenco Spirits at 17 Main Street, South Windsor, as well as two residential properties tied to the investigation, the ECNTF reported.
The operation resulted in the seizure of significant quantities of illegal items, including two firearms, a high-capacity drum magazine, substantial amounts of ammunition, over 1,000 oxycodone pills and additional diverted pharmaceuticals, including Xanax and other controlled substances, crack cocaine, fentanyl and MDMA, all packaged for street-level distribution, and more than $25,000 in cash, according to the ECNTF
The investigation remains active and ongoing. Authorities anticipate further arrests and charges as new leads develop. Anyone with information related to this case or other drug-related activities is encouraged to contact ECNTF confidentially at 860-645-5548.
