Magoon, McCabe, Morse: Recent Death Notices From South Windsor
Condolences are extended to the families and friends of those who have recently died.
SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Here are some recent death notices from South Windsor.
William "Duncan" Magoon, 69, beloved husband of Karen May (Dooley) Magoon, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 6, 2025. He was employed by the state of Connecticut as a clinical director at the Department of Corrections, retiring after over 25 years of service. He loved the Boston Red Sox, and going out to dinner at Abbott's, visiting the beach and watching MSNBC and Turner Classic Movies with Karen.
Timothy McCabe, 62, passed peacefully surrounded by his family on March 8, 2025 at Midstate Medical Center, the very place where his long battle with prostate cancer began in 2022. Tim’s life changed the day he met Diane. He genuinely believed she was put on this earth for him. He would often claim that fate brought them together—before quickly adding that his charisma, good looks, and smooth dance moves sealed the deal. Tim and Diane were the epitome of soulmates, their love and 38-year marriage standing as a testament to devotion, partnership, and profound love in its truest sense.
