Comments from Chief Matthew Reed:  “Tim has been around South Windsor for a long time.  He knows the community and he knows the operations of the police department.  Tim has been very successful in completing a number of complex capital projects at the PD since his promotion to support services commander.  I am proud of the way we have prepared our leaders to move up to more demanding positions and I am glad to be able to offer Lt. Edwards this opportunity to serve as Deputy Chief.”
