PHOTOS: National Night Out A Huge Hit With South Windsor Residents
Some surrounding communities postponed their event due to the iffy forecast, but South Windsor plunged forward to the delight of visitors.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Despite the looming threat of rain, hundreds of residents attended National Night Out (NNO) Tuesday at the pavilion at Nevers Road Park.
NNO is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police and community partnerships. It featured police equipment demonstrations, vehicles from the South Windsor Fire Department and the Ambulance Service of Manchester, food, bounce houses, music and community tables.
