Saleswoman Assaulted While Going Door-To-Door, South Windsor Police Say
The woman told police she was touched inappropriately and blocked from leaving, investigators say.
SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A South Windsor man was arrested Monday after a door-to-door saleswoman reported that he touched her inappropriately and would not let her leave his home, according to police.
Officers said they responded on December 1st after the woman called for help while working her sales route. She told police she was grabbed and then blocked from leaving the residence.

Police identified the suspect as Charlie Phan, 64, of South Windsor. He was detained and charged with disorderly conduct, fourth-degree sexual assault, and second-degree unlawful restraint, investigators said.

Phan was processed and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond. He's due in Manchester Superior Court on December 17th at 9 a.m., officials said.
