Appointed and served on the Zoning Board of Appeals (1996-1997), appointed and served on the Inland Wetlands/Conservation Commission (1999-2018), Elected Constable (1997-2015), Elected to Board of Education (2017-2018), appointed to the Town Council (2018-2019), Elected to the Town Council (2019-2021).

Now we'd like to ask a few questions about your reasons for running and your general views on politics and government. First, why are you seeking this office?

As someone who grew up here in South Windsor and graduated from South Windsor High, I would like to continue to give back to my community. This is my second run for the Town Council. I left in February 2021 dealing with family issues out of state. Because of that, I could not commit the appropriate amount of time to properly give the attention the position required.
Having grown up here in South Windsor I have seen so many changes especially in spending. When I was on the Town Council previously it was discouraged to go over the budget line by line. I was told this is why we have a town manager. The residents of this town are now more than ever being over burdened with taxes.

Please complete this statement: The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is \_\_\_, and this is what I intend to do about it.

Taxes and Tax Incentives/Abatements. Taxes, spending and abatements is all I hear when I am around town. As I am also affected by these issues, I will do what I can to help reduce the tax burden on the South Windsor residents.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I bring a historical perspective. I have lived here most of my life. I have seen the town grow from the farm town to the now overbuilt town. I believe that providing tax incentives/abatements is not always in the best interest of the residents.

If you are challenging an incumbent, in what way has the current officeholder failed the community?

The majority on the council currently does not listen to the community.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?

Our infrastructure. There are major issues in this town that need addressing, such as the Benedict Drive sewer pump station. This pump station has failed twice in the last two years.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?

I was told to stand up for myself and not be bullied because of what you believe. I will also try and stick up for anyone who is told to just sit down and be quiet as we know what is best.
