South Windsor Councilor To Challenge For 14th District House Seat
Steven King Jr. has already met the fundraising objectives for the Citizens' Election Program in his bid to win the General Assembly seat.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — South Windsor Town Councilor Steven King Jr. has announced his intention to seek the 14th District seat in the Connecticut General Assembly. He has already met the fundraising objectives for the Citizens' Election Program.
A Democrat in his second term on the council, King will challenge incumbent Republican Tom Delnicki, who has held the seat since 2017.
"Thanks to the unwavering support and dedication of the South Windsor community," campaign manager Mitchell Marks said in a written statement. "This achievement marks a pivotal moment in the campaign, emphasizing the power of collective effort and belief in Steven King Jr.'s vision for the state and district. The generosity of supporters has propelled the campaign forward, securing vital funding to drive impactful change in South Windsor and in our state."

A campaign kickoff event is scheduled for April 11 at Oscar's All American Grill, at 855 Sullivan Ave., from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. King will address the crowd, sharing his vision and plans for the state and community directly.
