South Windsor Police Seek Car Thief

The suspect is described as a white male with a bald or shaved head, somewhere in his 30s or 40s, wearing a blue UConn t-shirt.

South Windsor police are seeking a suspect in connection with a car theft incident that occurred on Monday, Aug. 12, 2013, at Veterans Memorial Park on Pleasant Valley Road. 

According to police, a woman reported being at the pool with her children when she noticed her car keys missing form her bag. Surveillance video shows a white male with a bald or shaved head, somewhere in his 30s or 40s, wearing a blue UConn t-shirt entering the area near the rear gate where the victim's blanket and bag were laying. The man is then seen exiting the gate with the victim's keys, getting in her 2007 Honda CRV, and driving off. The car is grey with Connecticut license plate number 808WGN. 

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect or the location of the vehicle is requested to contact the South Windsor Police at 860-644-2551.
