Town Clerk’s Office Will Pause Land Recordings Temporarily, South Windsor Says
While the town clerk's office will stay open Thursday for other services, staff will also be unable to print receipts during the pause.
SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — The South Windsor Town Clerk’s Office will temporarily halt recording services on Thursday, according to a notice from officials.
Beginning at 1:00 p.m. on December 11th, the office will not accept any documents for recording on the land records for the remainder of the business day. While the office will stay open for other services, staff will also be unable to print receipts during this period.
Officials say that the halt is due to a critical system update to the town's land recording software.
