Wreaths Across America Returns To South Windsor On Saturday
Organizers say about 1,200 veterans' graves in South Windsor will receive remembrance wreaths this year.
SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Wreaths Across America will return to South Windsor on Saturday, according to a post on social media by officials.
A ceremony will be held at Veterans Memorial Park on December 13th at 12 p.m., followed by the placement of remembrance wreaths on the graves of local veterans.
The annual event honors the nation’s fallen heroes by laying wreaths and speaking each veteran’s name aloud. According to officials, approximately 1,200 veterans’ graves will receive wreaths this year.
