Fight At Willington Discount Store Involved Brass Knuckles: Warrant
Two have now been arrested for their involvement in a fight at a store in Willington, state police said.

WILLINGTON, CT — A fight at the Willington Dollar General between a man accused of hurling insults at a woman and an intervening husband involved brass knuckles, a warrant shows.
The altercation broke out on March 3 and two arrests have now been made. A 64-year-old Willington man — the accused insulter — was picked up on a warrant on June 13 and charged with carrying a dangerous weapon, third-degree hindering prosecution, criminal attempt at breach of peace and second-degree assault. He posted a $10,000 bond as he was being arraigned in Rockville Superior Court Monday and is due back in court on Aug. 25, judicial system records show.
A 41-year-old Mansfield man — the husband — was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace on March 23. His initial $10,000 bond was reduced to a promise to appear and he is due back in court on Aug. 13, records show.

According to a warrant, a woman began complaining that the 64-year-old was making offensive comments toward her at the store. The husband then intervened and store surveillance cameras depict punches being thrown toward the 64-year-old, according to a warrant.
According to a warrant, the 64-year-old initially walked away, but then came back to re-engage the husband. He is seen on the footage reaching into his pocket, removing a hand clenched into a fist and fighting the husband with brass knuckles, according to a warrant.
