Making Masks Every Day: Stafford Heroes

STAFFORD, CT — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

This submission comes from Lisa Gagnon, who nominated Dee Pelletier Chapin and Katrina Rena, both of Stafford.

What does the nominee do for work?
Katrina works at American Woolen, but is currently laid off; Dee is retired

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
They have been making masks every day since the virus started.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?
They are thoughtful and caring.
