Several Kilos of Cocaine Seized After Crash And Chase In Willington: State Police
A suspected cocaine dealer spend the weekend in the lockup on a $1 million bond after his arrest in Willington, state police said.

WILLINGTON, CT — A suspected cocaine dealer spend the weekend in the lockup on a $1 million bond after his arrest in Willington Saturday, sate police said.
Edward Estrella, 27, of New York City, has been charged with the sale of cocaine, possession of a controlled substance and interfering with police, records show.
According to an arrest report, at 10:30 p.m. Saturday, a state trooper on patrol noticed a Honda Accord with New York plates crash into a metal guardrail on Interstate 84 westbound near the Exit 71 interchange.

As the trooper was approaching the scene, the driver emerged from the Honda and began running toward the Love's truck stop, according to an arrest report. A search involving police dogs and drones was not successful, but a passenger, identified as Estrella, was quickly apprehended by a police dog after also trying to flee the scene, according to an arrest report.
As he was being treated for injuries sustained from the dog, state police discovered about 8 kilograms of cocaine in plain view inside the vehicle, along with $10,000 in U.S. currency, according to an arrest report.

Estrella was to appear in Rockville Superior Court Monday as state police continued to investigate the whereabouts of the driver.
