State Police Quickly Track Down Vehicle Stolen From Shop In Willington

WILLINGTON, CT — A vehicle was stolen from a repair shop in Willington, but quickly tracked down and stopped, state police said. Two are now facing charges as a result.

At 8:39 p.m. on June 24, state police went to West's Service Center on Tolland Turnpike to investigate a stolen vehicle claim.

A short time later, the vehicle was spotted heading west on Interstate 84 in Vernon, according to an arrest report.

The vehicle was stopped and two occupants were arrested, state police said.

Siara Feliciana Hernandez, 21, of Rocky Hill was charged with larceny of a motor vehicle, according to an arrest report. She posted a $20,000 bond and is expected in Rockville Superior Court on July 8, according to an arrest report.

Genesis Del Valle, 22, of East Hartford, was charged with larceny of a motor vehicle, driving while under suspension and driving an unregistered vehicle, according to an arrest report. She posted a $50,000 bond and also has a court date of July 8.
