As a reminder, Ordinance 6-1, section 4, states that parking on roads "during any period when it is snowing or freezing rain, or so as to interfere with or hamper the removal of snow or ice" is prohibited in the Town of Stafford. In addition, Ordinance 7-4 requires property owners to remove snow from abutting sidewalks and fire hydrants within 24 hours after the end of the storm.
We strongly urge everyone who is not an essential worker stay home and off the roads so our Public Works crew can safely clear the roads.
