-multiple agencies are working to coordinate resources for the storm.
-Willington Emergency Operations Center (EOC) will fully open Sunday at 8am.

-The transfer station will be closed Sunday 8/22
-Storm activity is expected to begin Sunday morning between 8am-10am inland. It is expected to bring strong winds in the evening hours. This time frame may change as the storm progresses.

-Any non-emergency can be reported to the EOC @ 860-429-0288.
-Winds are anticipated to do quite a bit of damage. With saturated grounds and heavy rainfall predicted we may see flooding in areas. Public Works will be working to address road closures once the storm passes. We will keep you up to date with road closures.
-Please observe all road closed signs. DO NOT touch or go near any downed power lines.
-Eversource is preparing for a Level 2 event - Level 2 indicates 625,000-870,000 customer outages with a restoration time of 8-21 days. We will have a storm liaison and a Public Safety Specialist in our EOC with us. To report a power outage you can call 800-286-2000 or text “OUT” to 23129
-Frontier can be reached at 800-239-4430 for residential customers and 800-921-8102 for business customers.
-We're making post storm preparations for potable water and charging stations at Hall School on Monday. If power is available we will be setting up additional charging/cooling stations.
-Please be patient as we navigate this storm together.
