• Early fall: Saturday, Sept. 27, 1 to 3 p.m.

Different species begin to change color at different times during the fall. The early fall tour highlights these changes and explains how and why deciduous (trees with leaves) typically drop all their leaves every Fall.

• Peak fall: Saturday, Oct. 18, 1 to 3 p.m.

Predicting peak foliage at Westmoor Park (or anywhere) to a specific date is challenging, but it typically occurs within this general time frame. Regardless of timing, this is a spectacular time to visit the Arboretum and Park with multiple highlights to see.

Bring your phone or camera for photos.

• Peak fall II: Saturday, Oct. 25, 1 to 3 p.m.

Some of the most spectacular fall trees turn "late" (Sourwood, Sugar Maple, Kentucky Coffee Tree), and this is the general time they change.

Peak foliage is fleeting in any year, but there is still a lot to see.
