Early Voting In West Hartford, What You Need To Know

Early voting starts statewide on Monday, Oct. 20, in all Connecticut cities and municipalities.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Early voting starts on Monday, Oct. 20, with the Town of West Hartford recently releasing the latest information on election processes and procedures for 2025.

Same-day registration will be available in the West Hartford Town Hall during Early Voting and Election Day.

Absentee Ballots and applications for Absentee Ballots are available through the town clerk.

Starting this year, Connecticut will allow residents to vote in person before the election.

Early voting will be available from Oct. 20 to Nov. 3 at one location: the West Hartford Town Hall Auditorium, 50 S. Main St. Use the main entrance of the town hall.

Early Voting hours of operation:

• Monday, Oct. 20: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Tuesday, Oct. 21: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Wednesday, Oct. 22: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Thursday, Oct. 23: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Friday, Oct. 24: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Saturday, Oct. 25: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Sunday, Oct. 26: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Monday, Oct. 27: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Tuesday, Oct. 28: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

• Wednesday, Oct. 29: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Thursday, Oct. 30: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

• Friday, Oct. 31: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Saturday, Nov. 1: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Sunday, Nov. 2: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

When voters arrive to vote during the Early Voting period, they will check in and be verified as an eligible voter.

They will then receive a ballot with an envelope.

Early voters will complete a ballot at a privacy booth and seal it in the approved envelope.

"Before you leave, you will place the sealed envelope in the secure receptacle as instructed by the election officials," wrote the town.

Ballots will remain unopened until Election Day, Nov. 4.

On Election Day, Nov. 4, voters should go to their regular polling location.

Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
